Not every student will program for a living and not every student will write the next big application. However, they
use devices and applications as part of their digital lifestyle. They need to know that they're in control and make the device work for them. What better way than to introduce them to the concepts behind programming.
Hopscotch is one of a number of programming applications that teach the basic skills of programming and allow students to write their own programs. In our session, we'll explore the Hopscotch environment and write a few programs of our own. What better way to show the device who is in charge!
